Charla Nash seeks primate safety act: I don't want it to happen again
Wed Jul 9, 2014
In reply to: Normal Guy For America #2 Seriously, you can read this woman's story and believe it's okay to own a chimpanzee? People are not meant to make chimps, snakes or bears (to name a few) pets. I know people think it's cool - 'hey, I own a lion!' But it's rather stupid. …
Miss Delaware winner considering lawsuit after being stripped of her title
Mon Jun 30, 2014
I have to believe she knew and understood the age stipulation, but when nobody at the pageant level brought it up neither did she. Frankly, I find all pageants to be ridiculous and fail to understand why today's women feel the need to participate in them.
'It's a journey': 19-year-old's post on accepting her cellulite strikes a chord
Tue Jun 17, 2014
You have to be happy with yourself...now. If you aren't happy with yourself at this young age you'll never allow yourself to be. Cellulite is just a thing. It has nothing to do with who you are or where you're going. People make way too much over things that don't matter …
Jerry Sandusky's wife: Victims 'were manipulated, and they saw money'
Tue Mar 11, 2014
I'm sure she has had to convince herself her husband is innocent in order to be able to move ahead and continue living the good life she has known. I doubt she ever saw any actual molestation taking place, but I imagine she suspected things weren't right. And I don't care what …
N.J. Honor Student Booted From Home Sues Parents for College Aid
Tue Mar 4, 2014
Wow is all I can say. My daughter goes to college. What she doesn't get from scholarships she pays for herself. She does live at home to save money and we buy her books, but tuition is all on her. She never assumed it would be any other way. And I think her education wi …
Leah Remini reveals she left Scientology for her daughter's sake
Thu Feb 27, 2014
Anyone should feel free to leave their church. I'm a little surprised at the Scientology response. I find it hard to believe a true religious organization would publicly call one of their former members 'self-absorbed', among other things. Seems like the best response to her leaving was …
School rallies around 510-pound teen to help him get healthy
Thu Feb 20, 2014
In reply to: robert haile #2 Gosh, Robert. I feel like your comment is a little insensitive. Did you actually read the entire article or just glance at the headline? The kid's Father passed away, plus he suffered an injury that required him to be bedridden for some time. Ever …
Woody Allen's lawyer: Dylan Farrow's molestation memories 'implanted' by her mother
Tue Feb 4, 2014
In reply to: Mark-423819 #16.1 So, it's okay that he had a sexual relationship with the child of his former lover? I'm sorry - he's got some problems. And so does Soon-Yi.
Retired cop guns down man for texting at Florida movie: sheriff
Tue Jan 14, 2014
All very true, more2bits. Also totally out of control are people who have absolutely no consideration for others, along with no manners. Cell phones don't belong in theatres. Or restaurants. Or at schools during a play, musical or other activity.
Target says stolen info in data breach hit up to 70 million people
Fri Jan 10, 2014
In reply to: IAMMYOWNWOMAN #2.1 A gas station is one of the absolute worse places to use a debit card because it's very easy for someone to put one of those skimmers on the pumps. You're much better off to get a gas credit card and pay the full balance each month. I had my debit card com …
